Legacy Campaign

Leave a Legacy for Future CYO families to benefit from CYO programs!

Colorado Youth Outdoors is Where Relationships Grow! CYO exists to build relationships through traditional outdoor recreation. We strengthen relationships between youth and their parents or other significant adults, mentors and youth, youth and their peers, families, and all of our clients with the amazing natural resources in Colorado. At Swift Ponds, our 240 acre outdoor education and recreation facility, relationships grow through traditional outdoor recreation, such as fishing, archery, shooting sports, fly tying and so much more! The unique combination of education coupled with an unmatched outdoor experience and intentional relationship building , is the true gift of CYO. CYO has grown from a school based evening program to a site based regional program in Northern Colorado serving multiple communities and the youth and families within them. The programming we provide helps families, youth and other members of the community connect in meaningful ways, create fun lasting memories and develop a lifelong love of the outdoors.

Colorado Youth Outdoors owns the premier 240 acre outdoor education and recreation campus in Colorado. There is no other like it! Located in Northeastern Colorado, between Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley, Swift Pond’s is ideally positioned to serve the families and communities in this region. The campus houses12 stocked fishing ponds, a five house trap range, a half mile archery range, 50 acres of agriculture, moist soil and pollinator managed units, an outdoor pavilion and an 8500 square foot education facility. 208 acres of the property are under a conservation easement held by Colorado Open lands. This facility is ideal for meeting our mission of building relationships through traditional outdoor recreation.

The CYO Legacy Campaign is designed for those who represent the general community with a passion to support CYO’s mission. The campaign is more about how many donors will contribute versus at what level. Certainly, there will be opportunities for large gifts of support; however, this campaign is about including a wide variety of donors through inclusive giving levels. Join CYO in our campaign to leave a lasting legacy for future families in Northern Colorado and beyond, as we continue Building Relationships through Traditional Outdoor Recreation. Your gift will allow CYO to use our Swift Ponds outdoor education and recreation facility to accomplish this mission and to expand our influence into other communities in Colorado and beyond. The "legacy" lives on through your generosity.
