Programming

Our offerings include Archery, Spin Fishing, Shooting Sports, Fly Tying, Fly Fishing, and Camping/Backpacking. We work with parents and children, veterans and their families, and many other local nonprofit groups.

Facility/Corporate

In addition to daily and monthly facility maintenance and repair, CYO also hosts corporate volunteer projects from organizations such as Cargill, Chevron, Copper Springs Solutions, and Wisdom Tree Care. We host non-profit volunteer efforts such as Larimer County 4H Archery, Fort Collins Rotary, Young Men’s Service League and Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado as well.

Event

Each of our five major events The Maverick, The Scoot, Holes & Hops, Winter Wonderland, The Big Gift, all require different volunteer needs such as station attendants during The Maverick, corn hole tournament referees for Holes & Hops, or bartenders for The Scoot. Contact Chris Huff for more information on how you can help make our events go smoothly, and have a great time doing it!

Sportsmen’s Group

For those retired individuals who want to use their wealth of knowledge and experience to help Colorado Youth Outdoors. We have a group meeting every Tuesday morning at 8:30 am, the CYO sportsman’s club meets to tell fish stories, enjoy great conversation and give back to CYO through volunteering. Each meeting features coffee and breakfast as well as a CYO update and upcoming volunteer needs, occasionally our Sportsmen assist with equipment prep and repair projects.
