Planned Giving
A planned gift is any donation, made in lifetime or at death as part of a donor’s overall financial and/or estate planning. CYO works with a team of experts to administer non-traditional donations and honor bequests including gifts of stocks, IRA distributions, life insurance, real estate and more.
Support CYO with creative funding options to help ensure our mission is around for future generations. We’d love to talk more – please contact Sara Mickelson, Development Director, for more information: smickelson@coloradoyo.org

Swift Ponds
The majority of the Swift Ponds property (our Fort Collins campus) was a planned gift from the Louis Swift family in 2008.
This gift enabled us to expand the gift of relationship building – instead of reaching a couple hundred folks, CYO programming now touches 5,000 people every year. The gift keeps giving as our numbers grow!
Building – Downtown Loveland
A friend of CYO allocated a building in downtown Loveland to CYO through planned giving.
In 2023, CYO inherited and chose to sell the building. The profits are set aside to fund a second campus in Colorado Springs. The gift now extends to families in Colorado Springs. . .
